Woman comes to residence with shotgun to kill the resident inside

LINCOLN – The Lincoln Police Department was called to a residence in the 1000 block of 6th Street where the sounds of gunshots and breaking glass were heard.

The report stated that a woman was on scene with a shotgun. Arriving officers noted that the residence had “multiple broken windows and large amounts of blood in and around the home.”

The male victim told police that 53-year-old Pamela Pallas came and wreaked the evident havoc. The victim “said he shot at Pallas in self-defense.”

One of the neighbors said that the suspect said she was there to kill the resident. Following the trail of blood, officers discovered Pallas in the backyard, with a shotgun nearby. Pallas had serious cuts to her arms and had lost a significant amount of blood.

Pallas was first taken to the hospital for treatment. Then, she was booked into the South Placer Jail for attempted murder, shooting at an occupied dwelling, elder abuse and burglary.

The LPD announced that Pallas “is not eligible for bail.”
