MIAMI – 58-year-old Peter Thomas, a star on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” was arrested on an out-of-state warrant in Miami on March 1st.
As Thomas got off of a plane at Miami International Airport, authorities nabbed him on a warrant based out of Louisiana. The warrant alleges that he wrote false checks. He was not offered bail.
Fans of the show will remember that Thomas married Cynthia Bailey in season 3 and was married to Bailey from 2010 – 2017. He still makes occasional appearances on the RHOA show.
Thomas released his own statement, declaring, “I understand the seriousness of the allegations that have been filed against me, however the allegations are false. I do have faith in the judicial process and have no doubt that I will be acquitted from any wrong doing. While I can offer no further information about this incident, I do confirm that my attorney is handling this matter expeditiously”
