LOS ANGELES – Early on the morning of October 4, “Jersey Shore” actor Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested during a domestic violence incident that ended up with a kidnapping charge.
Around 3:00 a.m. numerous calls came in from the Hollywood Hills location where Magro, his girlfriend Jen Harley and their 18-month old daughter Ariana Sky are staying.
During an argument, Magro allegedly got physical with Harley to the point where she ran outside screaming. Magro came out with a knife and his daughter in his arms.
The suspect then dropped the knife, returned inside, and locked both himself and his daughter inside the residence.
Police came and, when the suspect wouldn’t come out, they broke down the door. Magro was tasered after being uncooperative. His girlfriend told police Ronnie had been doing cocaine.
While the child was apparently unharmed, Jen had “visible marks on her face.”
While Ortiz-Magro had completed a 30-day rehab program for alcohol abuse” earlier this year, his new adventure involves a $100,000 bail and kidnapping charge.
