HOLLISTER – Late at night, around 2:00 a.m., on November 11th two men entered the Arco gas station at 301 Gateway Drive.

One of the men produced a knife and demanded money from the store clerk while the other stood by.

The clerk complied and the duo fled with the loot. The following investigation, with the help of a K-9, did not result in any arrests that day.

However, as officers conducted another investigation, they were able to identify 19-year-old Joshua Sandoval as one of the two robbery suspects.

Sandoval was therefore arrested and charged with armed robbery.

His unidentified accomplice remains on the loose and is described as a Hispanic male weighing about 180 pounds and sporting a thin mustache.

Tips can be called in to HPD at 831-636-4330.
