San Benito County man arrested after gun and drugs reportedly found in car

“On July 30, 2022, at approximately 2:30 AM, Sergeant Mull and Deputy Zanella performed a vehicle check near the front entrance of 1400 Hwy 101 (Monterey RV Park).

During the investigation of the vehicle and its occupant, Sgt. Mull and Dep. Zanella located a hidden compartment under the console, which contained a firearm, suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, and a large amount of M-30 fentanyl pills.

The occupant was arrested and transported to the San Benito County Jail.

After concluding their investigation at the San Benito Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Mull and Dep. Zanella determined there to be 135.97 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 9.15 grams of suspected cocaine, and 349 pills of fentanyl.”
