TRUCKEE – A man and woman recently went on a burglary spree at Mountain Hardware.
The pair’s image was captured and then broadcast on social media. The Truckee Police Department asked for the public’s help in identifying the suspects, and they got it.

The TPD reported “an immediate outpouring of community support that lead to the identification of both suspects in a matter of hours.”
Christopher and Jennifer Chang of Reno were identified and ultimately arrested in Reno with the assistance of the Reno Police Department.
They were each booked in the Washoe County Jail with a bail of $25,000.
The TPD ends saying, “We certainly couldn’t have done it without help from the community we serve and the strong partnerships with our neighboring law enforcement agencies. Keep looking out for each other Truckee! #community“
