Woman Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend to Death

RUNNING SPRINGS – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrested a woman for stabbing her boyfriend to death on October 26.

The Fire Department responded to a call from a residence in the 20000 block of Hunsacker Way. There they discovered 33-year-old Richard Nelson in “medical distress.” They transported him to Mountains Community Hospital. Nelson was then airlifted to Riverside Community Hospital for further treatment.

At Riverside, medical personnel discovered that Nelson had been stabbed. Despite life-saving measures, Nelson died at the hospital.

Consequently the investigation led detectives to Nelson’s girlfriend, 34-year-old Janine Lee. Then detectives summarily arrested Lee for the stabbing death.
