ATASCADERO – 10 hours after a single gunshot incident, the APD arrested two people responsible for it. At 1:40 a.m. on October 3 the APD responded to a report of a fight behind Whiskey & June.

Once at 5950 El Camino Real, they learned that a fight had just occurred. During the fight, a man got a gun from his vehicle and pointed it at the victim.  Then he “fired a single round in the proximity of the victim.”

The shot missed, and the shooter left the scene.

As officers investigated they learned that the suspect had ties to the Vagos Motorcycle Gang.

Later that morning, at 11:51, officers spotted and stopped a black truck carrying their suspect. They pulled it over at the Stow It Mini Storage.

They then arrested 38-year-old Travis William Miller and 23-year-old Nevada Skye Jones. Their charges are assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
