Burglary alarm draws Auburn police, suspects arrested

AUBURN // On December 13th just before 7 AM, police officers arrived at a business on the 100 block of Sacramento Street for a burglary alarm.
The first arriving officer discovered the back door of the business forced open and two suspects — later identified as 32-year-old Ray Janis and 36-year-old Jose Gomez — were still inside.
Both were taken into custody, with Janis held on $115,000 bail and Gomez on $140,000 bail.
Police believe the two may also be connected to other recent burglaries currently under investigation.
