Unlawful relationship with minor sparks investigation, two arrested: Calaveras County Sheriff

CALAVERAS COUNTY // On November 29th, detectives with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects after a lengthy investigation into their alleged unlawful relationship with a female juvenile, during which they’d reportedly been exchanging sexually explicit pictures.

Pursuant to the investigation, detectives searched a home on Glen Echo Drive in Hathaway Pines, where they ended up arresting a third subject on unrelated charges.

Also arrested at the house was 43-year-old William Heiser, one of the primary suspects connected to the investigation, on charges of sending/possession of obscene matter, providing harmful matter to a minor, providing controlled substances to a minor, and being a felon in possession of ammunition.

Arrested at a separate residence was 24-year-old Jacob King of Valley Springs, the other primary suspect, who is charged with sending/possessing obscene matter, providing harmful matter to a minor, and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

The two are housed at the Calaveras County Jail as the investigation continues.
