MAGALIA // On September 28th just after midnight, Sheriff’s Deputies tried to pull over a suspicious person riding a three-wheel motorcycle along the Skyway.

The motorcyclist did not pull over and a short pursuit followed, which took deputies and said motorcyclist along a dirt trail on Dogtown Road. That was where the motorcyclist crashed into the bushes.

A Sheriff’s Deputy caught up with him on foot and tried to get him off the motorcycle, but the suspect hit the gas and tried to escape again. The deputy held on until the suspect crashed again, throwing the deputy from the motorcycle. He was later transported to a loca hospital and treated for “minor injuries to his head, knee, and elbow.”

So far, the motorcyclist has not been located.
