CHOWCHILLA — On April 4th at around 3 AM, an officer conducted a vehicle stop after noticing its tags were expired.

The driver — later identified as 43-year-old David Krick — initially gave a false name, which turned out to be because of the felony warrant attached to his real one.

The officer also discovered a notable amount of methamphetamine on Krick, as well as several falsified checks and stolen ATM/debit cards in the vehicle.

Krick was promptly arrested and booked into the Madera Department of Corrections for possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, possession of falsified checks, and unlawful possession of ATM/debit cards.
