Transient Arrested for Sexual Assault in Napa

NAPA — On March 13th just before 6 PM, officers arrived on Pine Street to investigate a sexual assault.

It was there that they detained a man matching the suspect’s description, later identified as 25-year-old transient Lester Morris Ivy.

Napa PD detectives arrived to conduct a formal investigation, during which they discovered that Ivy had been selling magazines door-to-door when he allegedly entered one woman’s residence uninvited, threatened her, and sexually assaulted her.

Ivy was interviewed and arrested for burglary, sexual battery, and criminal threats. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.
