Stolen Honda Leads to Three Arrests

FRESNO – On Tuesday, January 17th, Fresno police spotted an unoccupied Honda that had been reported as stolen.  Instead of immediately towing the vehicle, they instead began a surveillance.

Soon someone entered it and drove to near Vassar and San Pablo, as a second Honda followed it.  The driver of the stolen car was arrested, as well as two others in the car that followed him.

24-year-old gang member David Cortez was booked into jail for felony auto theft, auto theft with a prior conviction, conspiracy, possession of meth, and a probation violation.

23-year-old Timothy Trejo and 21-year-old Roman Fuentes were also arrested for felony auto theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, and conspiracy.
