Four Arrested for Fatal Stabbing at Mobile Home Park

YOLO COUNTY—Two men and two women were arrested on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 for the fatal stabbing of a man outside his mobile home in Woodland.

The four suspects, who face murder charges with criminal gang enhancements in the death of Ronald Antonio, 41, of Woodland, include Alexis Valasquez, 18; Justin Gonzales, 22; Cynthia Tello, 23; and Vanessa Ramos, 22.  Antonio suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper torso.

Tello and Ramos face additional charges of harboring or concealing a felon after a crime.

Woodland police said they were conducting their investigation at the crime scene at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the Casa Del Sol mobile home park at 709 East Street when they were shot at by someone in a passing vehicle.  The occupants of the car shouted derogatory remarks at the police and fired several shots, which narrowly missed the officers and struck an unoccupied police vehicle.

A knife in connection to the assault was also found at the crime site by the Yolo County Gang Task Force.

All four suspects are being held without bail at the Yolo County Jail. Their arraignments were scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016  in Yolo Superior Court.

The Casa Del Sol stabbing is Woodland’s third murder this year. Anyone with information about either crime is urged to call Woodland Police Dispatch at 530-666-2411.
