SEASIDE — The Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team have arrested a 25-year-old Seaside man (again) for possession a Thompson sub-machine gun, after it and other firearms were discovered during a probation search of his home earlier this month.

25-year-old Ronnie Glaze was first arrested by Marina Police on June 3.

On that day, Marina Police were the first to arrested Glaze for possession of an altered .22-caliber rifle. Glaze is on probation and is prohibited from owning firearms of any kind.

While Glaze was released on bail, detectives from PRVNT paid him a visit to conduct a probation search. There, at his home on the 1500 block of Del Monte in Seaside, agents discovered more weapons including the sub-machine gun and high capacity magazines. He was also found to be in possession of an altered .357-caliber revolver.

Glaze was arrested on additional charges and transported to the Monterey County Jail. He is charged with prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possession of an assault rifle, being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled substance, and three outstanding warrants.

His bail has been set at $200,000.
