Two People Dressed In Black Seen Leaving The Scene

GREENFIELD—While The Community of Watsonville was coming to grips with the senseless murder of 4-year-old Jaelyn Zavala, the Community of Greenfield in Monterey County is grieving for one of their own. 27-year-old Greenfield resident Christina Camacho was found dead in a vehicle on Saturday night.

On Saturday night, October 11 at 8 p.m., The Greenfield Police Department responded to the area of 300 Hutchinson Drive. Once there they found a small group gathering around a vehicle.

Inside the vehicle was Camacho, who had been shot numerous times. Emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. She was seated in the car with a man who was also shot, but was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police are not able to release his condition or his name at this time. After an investigation, police believe that both victims were seated in the car on Hutchinson Drive when an unknown suspect came up and began shooting.

Police believe that the shooting is gang related. Two People dressed in black were seen fleeing the scene on foot. The Greenfield Police are still investigating this case.
