‘Alert’ Citizen’s Call to Police Leads to Arrest of Residential Burglary Suspect
A vigilant citizen’s quick thinking is being credited with the arrest of a 20-year-old Richmond man who police say had burglarized a home in the 500 block of West Merle Court this morning.
According to a Nixle Alert sent by San Leandro Police, around 11:30 a.m., the resident came home and saw the front door of their residence standing open.
