Two Rocklin men were recently arrested and charged with making processed marijuana and furnishing two minors with the drug, according to an official report from the Rocklin Police Department.
Jonathon Barnett, 24, was reportedly arrested and charged with furnishing marijuana to minors, and an additional charge of battery against a spouse or cohabitant. Jonathon Pau, 24, was reportedly arrested and charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance. Both were booked into Placer County Jail.
According to the Rocklin PD, on December 30, 2013, at 11:45pm, officers responded to a private residence on a report of subjects packaging narcotics for sale. Upon arrival, officers reportedly smelled marijuana and both marijuana and paraphernalia were visible to officers in plain sight.
Additionally, two juveniles at the scene reportedly informed detectives that suspect Barnett had provided them with marijuana.
Barnett was reportedly on probation and a search of the house revealed a “hash lab” hidden under suspect Pau’s bed. Officers reportedly also questions Barnett’s girlfriend, which reportedly resulted in the additional battery charge. Both young men listed the Rocklin home as their residence when arrested.
