SWAT used to raid drug house

Two Paso Roblans are under arrest after police and the SWAT team raided their residence looking for narcotics on Wednesday.

According to the Paso Robles Police Department, the San Luis Obispo County Regional SWAT Team served a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence on the 100 block of Santa Ynez Ave.

Swat members used flash-bang devices as diversionary methods because police say the suspects were high-risk due to previous weapons and resisting arrest charges. The suspects were also known to participate in criminal street gangs.

According to PRPD, the warrant was obtained by the department’s Special Enforcement Team after an extensive narcotics investigation.

Police discovered 1.3 grams of heroin, 11 grams of methamphetamine, scales, drug paraphernalia and criminal street gang indicia.

Police arrested Enrique Rubio, 30, of Paso Robles for felony possession of a controlled substance for sales, felony possession of narcotics for sales, felony criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and Evette Honesto, 32, of Paso Robles for felony possession of a controlled substance for sales, felony possession of narcotics for sales (felony criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia,

Both suspects were booked into SLO County Jail. Both have a bail set at $25,000.
