Woman Robs Credit Union

PASO ROBLES – Paso Robles police are looking for a female suspect who robbed the Golden One Credit Union on Tuesday around 5:04 p.m.   According to  the Paso Robles Police Dept. (PRPD), they received a report of a robbery in progress at the Golden One Credit Union in the 100 block of Niblick Road.

Officers say a Hispanic female adult entered the bank, demanded money and then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.  Witnesses say the suspect claimed she was armed, but no weapon was seen.

The suspect described as a Hispanic female, 35-40 years old, 5′ 7″ and 150 to 160 pounds. She was, wearing dark-framed eyeglasses, a turquoise blue t-shirt, tan cap, black purse and had blue jeans.

Police say there were no injuries during the robbery and the financial loss is still being determined.  Officers  were unable to locate the suspect in the area.

The crime scene was reportedly processed by PRPD detectives, crime scene investigators and the FBI.  The PRPD is seeking assistance from the public to help solve this crime.
