Woodland Woman arrested for Motel Stabbing

WOODLAND – On Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:40 p.m., police were dispatched to a gas station on West Main Street and found Dave Lopez, 41, of Woodland suffering from a wound on his left arm.  Additionally present was April Wilson, 44.

Officers determined that Wilson and Lopez were involved in an altercation at the nearby Dunton Motel on 449 West St.  Reportedly, Wilson continued to harass Lopez and proceeded to stab him in the arm.

Lopez was transported to a local hospital for treatment and Wilson was booked at the Monroe County on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment.

Lopez was released from the hospital about an hour after Wilson’s arrest.
