Two Suspects Rob 7-Eleven

Atascadero Police Officers are searching for two armed suspects who robbed a local 7-Eleven store early Thursday morning around 3 a.m.

According to APD, officers responded to an alarm that sounded at the store located at 8000 El Camino Real.

Witnesses told officers two armed male suspects entered the store. Witnesses say one held a semi-automatic handgun.

The suspects held a gun to the clerk and demanded money from the store’s register as well as cartons of cigarettes.

After the robbery the two fled the scene, but they did not know which direction the suspects went.

Police were unable to locate them.

Police say one of the suspects was last seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, dark-blue jeans with white and black shoes. At the time of the robbery, the suspect covered his face with a dark-colored garment. Police say the gun he used was black and silver.

The second suspect wore a yellow-brown Rams cap with a blue brim. He was last seen wearing a black zip-up jacket, dark long pants with black and white shoes. His face was covered with what the clerk described as a white plastic bag with holes cut in it.

Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to call APD at 461-5051.
