Julio Jesus Romero

The suspect, Julio Jesus Romero of Bakersfield, who was identified by witnesses, is wanted by authorities in connection with a shooting that wounded two and left two others dead outside a party in the 3700 block of Columbus Street at approximately 1:18 a.m. on May 26, 2013.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, their investigation into the incident revealed Romero as the shooter, and after obtaining a Ramey Warrant for his arrest, officers swarmed a home in the 3900 block of Deacon Avenue at 5 p.m. on May 28, in an attempt to take the 21-year-old fugitive into custody.
