Sheriffs Search for Burglary Suspect(s)

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department is searching for information regarding a residential burglary that occurred in Arroyo Grande Mesa on Monday afternoon.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, deputies responded to investigate a residential door-kick burglary which had occurred that date between 2 and 9 p.m. on Monday.

The suspect(s) reportedly entered a residence in the 2600 block of Appaloosa Way by kicking in a rear door and selectively stole approximately $10,000 worth of valuables from within.

According to the sheriff’s department the preliminary investigation revealed that a suspect(s) may have canvassed the listed neighborhood and knocked on doors during Monday’s afternoon hours.

The sheriff’s department is asking members of the public in the Appaloosa Way or neighboring areas who encountered any suspicious person or activity Monday afternoon to contact Sheriff’s South Patrol Station Investigators at (805) 473-7100.
