Hollister Authorities Find Missing 14-year-old girl

HOLLISTER—The Hollister Police Department has found 14-years-old Selena Burr near Ceres California on August 9. Her foster parents reported her as a runaway on July 12.  Burr was believed to be in the company of Clint Wageman, 41, of Northern California.

Authorities from the Hollister Police Department received a call from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department stating that she had been found near the town of Ceres, California and has been returned to the custody of the Santa Clara County Social Services.  She has been placed in foster care in an undisclosed location.

“We received a call from Stanislaus County stating that she has been found in the Valley near Ceres and is safe now,” Hollister Police Captain Carlos Reynoso said, “ but we still do not know the whereabouts of Wageman.”

This was the second time that Burr has run away with Wageman.  Back in February authorities found them together in his San Francisco apartment.  Wageman was ordered not to contact her but there is evidence that the couple has maintained contact since the February incident.

“The February case is still being reviewed by the District Attorney’s Office,” Reynoso added.  All attempts to find Wageman have been unsuccessful and there is no vehicle information.

He has had recent addresses in San Francisco, San Jose, Ceres and the Paradise Springs area.  Wageman has not been contacted and is still a person of interest in this case.  Wageman is a white male 6 feet 2 inches tall 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
