SPD Arrest Suspect for 2003 Murder

The Sacramento Police Department (SPD) have arrested Brian Keith London, 39, for the 2003 murder of Chateamer Hornes, according to an official SPD press release.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at approximately 10:54pm, police reportedly received a 911 call regarding a shooting that occurred in the 7500 block of Eddylee Way. Officers arrived on the scene and discovered Hornes lying on the front lawn of a home. Hornes reportedly sustained mutiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital.

According to the release, after conducting a preliminary investigation, detectives discovered there was a confrontation betweet the victim and the suspect that led to gunfire.

On July 26, 2012, an arrest warrant was reportedly issued for London for his role in the murder of Hornes. London turned himself in and was booked at the Sacramento County Jail.
