Caregiver Arrested on Suspicion of Sexual Assault

On November 11, 2022, 62-year-old Ioan Sandor of Sacramento County was arrested in connection to a sexual assault investigation by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and the Sexual and Elder Abuse Bureau.

The victim in this case was a dependent adult who lived at the care facility where Sandor was employed, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Sandor was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on one count of penetration by a foreign object by means of force or fear.

Sandor was being held on $250,000 bail, but posted bail later that day.

Sandor’s first court appearance was November 15, 2022.
