Vallejo police seek clues in robbery and assault

A Vallejo man was beaten and robbed Sunday night while walking home near Sheveland Park, according to the Times Herald.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, was reportedly approached by two adult men while walking on Harrier Avenue at about 11 p.m. One of the men allegedly asked for the time as he pulled out a handgun on the victim, police said.

The Times Herald reported one suspect is described as a male in his mid to late 20s, and reportedly punched the victim in the eye, causing him to briefly lose consciousness, police said. When he awoke, the two suspects were reportedly stomping on him, police said.

Armed Robbery

The suspects fled the area with a very small amount of cash from the victim’s pocket, police said.

Suspects were described as adult black males in their 20s. One was described as five foot six inches, 190 pounds, with dreadlocks and wearing a black jacket with black pants, according to the Times Herald. The other suspect is reportedly six feet tall, 180 pounds, and had short black hair.
