HANFORD – On the night of Friday July 19th two young brothers were watching TV in their living room. Suddenly, a gunshot pierced a wall of their home. The bullet grazed the head of the 5-year-old, missing his 11-year-old brother.

The child’s mother took him to Adventist medical center, and then he was transferred to Valley Children’s Hospital.

Responding detectives began to investigate the scene. They were able to locate the bullet lodged in the interior wall. Then detectives “developed a suspect and made an arrest.”

29-year-old Rowdy Paulo was arrested for attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon and shooting a firearm at an inhabited dwelling.

Kings County Sheriff’s Commander Mark Bevens said, “Rowdy and this family have had some conflict. Not going to go into the details of all their conflicts, but they’ve had some neighborhood conflicts with one another.”
