MONTEREY – A David Walter Osborne, a 48-year-old private wealth manager from Austin Texas, rented a private jet and went to Pebble Beach for a golf trip along with two of his friends.

The three shared rooms at the lodge, and it was there that David Walter Osborne allegedly sexually assaulted two female victims.

Detectives investigated the allegations and determined that they had enough evidence to show that a crime had been committed.

The Monterrey County Sheriff’s Office sent detectives to Austin, TX and met with the Austin Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit.

Then, the authorities went to Osborne’s office and took him into custody. He was “booked in the Travis County Jail on a $100,000 warrant from Monterrey County for Assault With Intent To Commit Rape, Sexual Penetration by a Foreign Object, Attempted Forcible Rape and False Imprisonment by Violence.”

Osborne faces an extradition trip to Monterey County “for the pending charges.”
