Nearly 4,600 pot plants were seized by SBPD Officers, and one arrest was made. Due to the ongoing investigation, the name of the suspect remains anonymous for now.

As a result, “The nine units were red-tagged by the building inspector,” said SBPD Community Engagement Officer Eileen Hards.

Safety issues will be addressed and code enforcement will follow up with the property owner to resolve issues.
