CHOWCHILLA — Around 1 AM on May 25th, officers arrived on the 500 block of W. Robertson Boulevard to investigate reports of a burglary in progress.
Officers were led to a nearby business where to suspects had been seen breaking, entering, and taking items. The two had been detained by citizens until officers arrived.
The suspects have been identified in a press release as Casey Ryan Dearing and Kenneth Duane Bernard (both 19).
Both have been arrested and were booked into Madera County Jail on three felony charges — burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and vandalism.
