Was Forum Employee Arrested for Burglary?

INGLEWOOD, CA — There is only one venue in Inglewood on Prairie where events require bona fide event staff to handle the nearly-amount of people that can fill a 17,000+ arena.

On Tuesday, April 22, Anthony Van Trahan, 22, was arrested by Inglewood Police Department (IPD) for “Dealing in counterfeit obligations or securities” and burglary. Police arrest records show that he told police his occupation is “Event staffing.”

While it could be a coincidence that Trahan was arrested along the 900 block of South Prairie in Inglewood — just one very short block away from the Forum Presented by Chase and directly outside Hollywood Park horse track — it could be otherwise.

The Forum just opened in January, one month before Hollywood Park closed down.

The Los Angeles man was picked up at approximately 12:45 a.m. Bail for the two charges was set at $20,000 each.

One hopes that whatever he was dealing in was not just counterfeit tickets or penny stocks.
