Sheriffs Ask Public for Help

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help in a case involving an attack that left one man with life-threatening injuries.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, officers from the Guadalupe Police Department responded to an emergency call about a man who had been attacked and injured on Sunday around 1 a.m.

In the investigation sheriffs determined the crime had occurred in San Luis Obispo County in the Oso Flaco Lake Road area. Deputies and investigators from the sheriff’s office responded.

According to the press release, they found the victim had life-threatening injuries to his neck and was taken to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. Sheriffs say he is now in stable condition and is expected to survive.

The investigation is continuing and the SLOSD is asking any members of the public with information on this case to call sheriff’s detectives at 781-4500 or Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP.
