Michael Wallin

MOUNTAIN VIEW — The Mountain View Police announced the cancellation of an Amber Alert around 11:30 AM, when the Livermore Police were notified by the paternal grandmother that the missing baby girl, Madilyn, was safely in her custody.

Madilyn’s mother was reunited with her at the Livermore Police Department a short time later. However, the whereabouts of Michael Wallin, who took his four month old baby girl violently away from her mother, was still unknown.

It all started when 4-month-old Madilyn Wallin was taken by her father Tuesday night around 8:30 pm.  The suspect, the 45-year-old father and a resident of Patterson, was visiting with Madilyn and her mother at the Residence Inn in Mountain View, when they started to get into a verbal argument.

That is when Wallin starting driving off with the mother and Madilyn, who he was holding in his lap, a short distance from where they were arguing. The mother escaped from the vehicle before Michael drove off with her daughter.

Suspect Michael Wallin, is being described as a white adult man with brown hair and brown eyes and he has distinctive tattoos all across his torso.  If anyone has any information on his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
