Police Arrest Subject for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

“On 01/09/22, at approximately 1:58 a.m., Petaluma Canine Officer Brandon Hansen observed a vehicle traveling in front of him. A record check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed it had been reported stolen out of Marin County.

A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the driver (identified as Julio Gomez) was detained without incident. Gomez was determined to be on probation out of Marin County. He was ultimately arrested for the theft and possession of the stolen vehicle. He was transported to the Sonoma County Jail where he was booked on the charges. ”
