Operation Consequences Yields Eight Felony Arrests and Firearm Seizures Across San Bernardino County
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA — Investigators and patrol personnel from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, alongside regional partner agencies, executed nine search warrants and conducted targeted crime suppression patrols between September 21 and September 27, 2026, as part of the ongoing Operation Consequences.
The multi-agency detail targeted locations across Big Bear, Colton, Apple Valley, Victorville, Barstow, Highland, Ontario, and San Bernardino. During the weeklong push, members of the Gangs/Narcotics Division, patrol station deputies, and the San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) Street Enforcement Team (SET) conducted proactive enforcement operations focusing on gang members and individuals prohibited from possessing weapons.
The operation resulted in eight felony arrests and the seizure of two firearms.
Funded through authorization by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, Operation Consequences provides extra resources to address quality-of-life issues, suppress violent crime, and disrupt gang activity and illegal firearm trafficking throughout the High Desert and the greater San Bernardino metropolitan region.
Participating agencies in the multi-month initiative include the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, local patrol stations, the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino Police Department, San Bernardino County Probation, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
