Hesperia Resident Arrested Following Child S**ual Abuse Material Investigation
HESPERIA, CA – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department investigators arrested a 26-year-old man on September 10, 2026, following an investigation into the possession of child s**ual abuse material.
The department’s Specialized Investigations Division – Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) initiated the inquiry on August 17, 2026, after receiving a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the online upload of illicit media. Through the investigation, detectives identified Trevor Angus Dene, a resident of Hesperia, as the primary suspect.
During a subsequent search involving the 14000 block of Sequoia Street in Hesperia, investigators examined Dene’s electronic devices and located images of child s**ual abuse material.
Deputies arrested Dene at approximately 8:00 a.m. on September 10 and booked him into the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto. He faces charges for possession of child pornography under California Penal Code section 311.11(a) with bail set at $30,000.
