Stockton Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Stabbing on Hackberry Street
STOCKTON, CA — “On September 1, 2026, at approximately 12:43 am, officers responded to the 2200 Block of Hackberry St to conduct a welfare check following a report of a person stabbed. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult female victim, suffering from stab wounds. Medical personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Officers conducted follow-up investigation and were able to locate the known suspect, 21-year-old Kevin McKinsley-Harris, and took him into custody without incident.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.”
