Traffic Stop in Cypress Leads to Arrest and Recovery of Stolen Property
CYPRESS, CA — August 14th 2026 — “What started as a traffic stop quickly turned into much more. During the stop, one of our officers recognized the driver from a recent burglary investigation in Cypress. Further investigation led to the recovery of property believed to have been stolen.
The driver was taken into custody and the property was recovered.
If you’re going to burglarize a city, you may want to reconsider driving around that same city afterward. Our officers might just recognize you!”
