Vallejo Resident Arrested on Multiple Charges after Unserialized Firearm Discovered During Traffic Stop
NAPA, CA — An overnight traffic stop in Napa resulted in the arrest of a Vallejo resident on multiple charges, including driving under the influence and possession of an unserialized firearm.
An officer conducting extra patrol near S. Jefferson Street and Cabot Way initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling with tinted windows. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Ryan Hall of Vallejo.
According to statement details from the Napa Police Department, Hall displayed signs of alcohol intoxication, admitted to drinking, and had open alcohol containers inside the vehicle. Following field sobriety tests, a preliminary alcohol screening recorded blood alcohol concentration (BAC) readings of .206% and .205%.
Officers placed Hall under arrest for DUI. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a loaded, operable, and unserialized firearm located underneath the driver’s seat.
A background records check indicated that Hall was on active Napa County probation with alcohol-related terms. Additionally, the check revealed prior felony convictions that prohibit him from legally possessing a firearm.
Hall was arrested and subsequently transported to the Napa County Department of Corrections.
