Napa Police Arrest 19-Year-Old Following Recovery of Stolen Firearm
NAPA, CA – Detectives with the Napa Police Department Special Enforcement Unit served a search warrant on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at a residence on Newell Circle within the City of Napa.
During the search, officers located a loaded Glock 27 handgun. A check of law enforcement records indicated that the firearm had previously been reported stolen out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Following the discovery, authorities arrested 19-year-old Napa resident Noah Villanueva. Villanueva was taken into custody on charges related to the possession of the stolen firearm and its accompanying loaded magazine.
Members of the Napa Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit stated that they remain dedicated to reducing crimes involving firearms within the City of Napa. Further details regarding the investigation or legal proceedings have not been released.
