Multi-Month Joint Investigation Leads to Arrest and Seizure of 190 Pounds of Methamphetamine in West Sacramento
WEST SACREMENTO, CA — Following a multi-month investigation into methamphetamine distribution along the West Capitol Corridor, detectives with the West Sacramento Police Department and the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant that led to a major narcotics seizure and an arrest.
During the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement officers seized approximately 190 pounds of methamphetamine along with $5,100 in U.S. currency. Additionally, officers took the primary target of the investigation into custody without incident.
The operation was the result of several months of joint investigative work and collaboration between the West Sacramento Police Department and the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office aimed at disrupting the movement of illegal drugs within the local community.
