Lincoln Police Search Warrant Closes Down Suspected Drug House
LINCOLN, CA — “On July 21, an Lincoln Police officer conducted a vehicle stop, (which eventually led to a drug house,) in the area of Lincoln Blvd and HWY65. The driver, Moses Lopez, 63, of Lincoln, was in possession of around 1 ounce of methamphetamine and arrested for narcotics sales and booked at the South Placer Jail.
LPD’s efforts did not stop there.
In the following week, officers identified Lopez’s residence and secured a search warrant to look for more evidence of narcotics sales. Officers also learned of numerous neighborhood complaints regarding narcotics activity at Lopez’s “drug house” residence, located in the 100 block of Ina Way.
The search warrant was served with the assistance of a Rocklin Police Department K9. Officers located Lopez at the residence and found an additional ounce of methamphetamine. He was arrested (again) for narcotics sales.
The residence was found to be in extremely poor condition. Lincoln Code Enforcement responded and tagged the residence as a dangerous building, ceasing further occupation or entry.”
