Placer County deputies have arrested a man and two juveniles in connection to a robbery at a Walgreen’s in Granite Bay.

On Tuesday evening, March 24, the two juveniles reportedly entered the Walgreen’s on Douglas Boulevard, approached the pharmacy counter, and demanded prescription meds. They later fled in a grey sedan.

A deputy soon spotted the sedan in the area of Eureka Road and North Sunrise Boulevard and tried to initiate a traffic stop, but was instead led on a pursuit on eastbound I-80 near Highway 65.

Additional deputies deployed a spike strip along I-80 at Newcastle, rendering the vehicle immobile.

The driver, 29-year-old Bryan Andre Williams, was arrested and booked at the Auburn Jail.

The two juveniles, ages 14 and 17, from Sacramento and Oakland, face charges of robbery and conspiracy. One of them was also charged with providing a false name to police and already had a felony warrant.
