Cyber Tip Leads to Arrest of Rohnert Park Resident on Allegations of CSAM Possession

ROHNERT PARK, CA — “On August, 11th 2026, detectives and patrol officers with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (RPDPS) arrested a 45-year-old male subject who is a Rohnert Park resident, for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

In February 2026, RPDPS received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), referred through the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (SVICAC) Task Force.

Following a thorough investigation, RPDPS detectives identified a primary suspect. Detectives served multiple search warrants to electronic service providers associated with the suspect in order to identify him.

On August 10th, 2026, a Ramey Warrant was issued for the male subject and a search warrant was issued for his residence. On August 11th, 2026, RPDPS detectives and patrol officers served the warrant at his residence and placed him under arrest. The 45-year-old male subject was booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for the following violation:

California Penal Code § 311.11(a)(1) – Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, with bail set at $75,000.

The subject’s identity will not be released at this time for the privacy of others involved in the investigation.
