Newport Beach Police Recover Stolen U-Haul and Arrest Driver Following Alert
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — “A stolen U-Haul that had been overdue since June was recovered after NBPD officers received an alert on the vehicle and quickly located it within the city.
Officers conducted a traffic stop, safely taking the driver into custody without incident. During the investigation, officers also located drugs.
Another stolen vehicle recovered, illegal drugs removed from our community, and another example of how technology and teamwork help keep Newport Beach safe.”
