Missing Fresno Woman Reportedly Found Deceased inside East Grove Avenue Residence
FRESNO, CA — “On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 7:45 PM, Northeast District Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 4400 Block of East Richert Avenue regarding a report of a missing person, identified as 30-year-old Tatyana McIntyre. During the initial investigation, officers checked multiple locations throughout Fresno but were unable to find her. Detectives with the Domestic Violence Unit were called in to assume the investigation.
Through their continuous efforts, detectives determined McIntyre’s last known location was a residence in the 5700 Block of East Grove Avenue. The Street Violence Bureau Tactical Team served a search warrant at the location where they found McIntyre deceased inside. No other individuals were inside the residence when the warrant was served. Homicide detectives responded and their preliminary investigation established evidence that a disturbance had occurred inside the residence.
Two small children associated with the location are safe and accounted for. The investigation remains active. Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood, reviewing surveillance footage, identifying and interviewing witnesses, and working to gather evidence connected to the case.
