El Nido Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Over 500 Gallons of “Red” Diesel Fuel
CENTRAL CALIFORNIA — Authorities in Merced County have arrested an individual for the alleged theft of over 500 gallons of “red” diesel fuel across two counties.
According to a press release by the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, detectives have arrested 55-year-old Andrew Roggero of El Nido.
Roggero is reportedly accused of stealing the fuel from farms in both Merced and Madera counties.
Merced County detectives carried out multiple search warrants as part of the investigation and, in partnership with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, took Roggero into custody on Tuesday, July 28.
